In our opinion, Asia Divers is one of the best run, best-equipped and best laid out open to all dive centre in the Philippines. Every single detail has been meticulously thought through, planned and implemented by the owners Allan, Andy and Tommy. It truly is a centre of excellence in all aspects of diving. Whether it is Instructor Development Courses, or learning to dive for the first time or just simply fun diving, you will get first class service.
Asia Divers is also a PADI Career Development Centre, one of only two in the Philippines. We consider the standard of education as excellent, arguably you could call this bias as both Siobhan and Tony qualified as Instructors here, however you can’t argue with the impressively high 100% Instructor pass rates they consistently achieve on each IDC.
Catering for groups is something Asia Divers does very well. The whole set up allows for ease of diving no matter how big or small your group is and it’s not uncommon for groups of up to 40 divers to be seamlessly accommodated in the daily dive schedule, whilst still enjoying personal service and keeping dive groups to a maximum of 6 divers to one Guide.
Please contact us for more details on group bookings as we are able to offer attractively priced packages depending on the size of group.
Diving is only one quarter of the story though.
El Galleon, the resort of Asia Divers, right by the side of the dive shop, in the quiet Small Lalaguna, is in lush green grounds, nestled around the pool and restaurant. We would suggest spending a bit more on the room and go for a Seaview room, giving a little more privacy and space and great views of the Verde Island Passage.

Arthur’s Restaurant, with head Chef Antoine, serves some of the best food in PG, along with one of the best views. Many kitchens really struggle in the Philippines to properly cater to western tastes, getting the raw ingredients is a real issue, but Antoine has cracked it perfectly. You will need to stay for a long holiday here to get bored of the menu.
The penultimate quarter is the infamous Point Bar. Probably the best meeting, drinking, partying, chilling, sunset watching, bar in PG. Many of the Worlds problems have been put right with the assistance of Mr San Miguel and his partner Vin Rouge, at the Point. Once you’ve been there, you’ll know what we mean.
But all the above can only exist because of the last quarter, the Team. Whether it’s the happy smiley Leahbeth serving you a col beer at the Point, or Joy bringing you another helping of baked ice cream or Alli, Pete, Jamie, Troy and Ruben sharing a beer with you in the Point at sunset as you recall all you’ve seen that day.
They have always been there and will always be there.
Very quickly it feels like your diving home.
