Perfectly located along the coastline of the Municipality of Mabini, Crystal Blue Resort offers easy access to all the main dive sites of the area.
The vast majority of divers coming to Anilao are photographers and macro diving lovers; Crystal Blue is designed to make them feel right at home.
The dive operation is well organised with good facilities and attentive service. As with all quality resorts, you will not have to lift a finger to get your dive gear ready for a dive, (unless of course you want to!) the dive team will take care of everything so all you need to do is get on the boat and go diving.
For Photographers, this is one of the best equipped operations we know of, with superb facilities including large rinse tanks of fresh water, outdoor compressed air drying station and a superb secure, camera room. The boat crew and dive staff are used to divers with cameras of all shapes and sizes and can be trusted to handle all equipment with care.
One of the main strengths of the dive guides is their marine biology knowledge. You can not truly appreciate how special Anilao is a dive destination for macro life unless you see the huge variety of amazing creatures for yourself; the guides at Crystal Blue really know what to find and how to find it.
Another benefit of diving at Crystal Blue is the opportunity to improve your photography skills by taking one of the photo workshop courses. Mike Bartick, resort manager, is one of the formative underwater photographers in the Philippines. He runs regular photo workshops for every level of photographer and can cater his courses for groups as well as one to one tuition.
Crystal Blue Resort is built on hillside, with most of the rooms situated in a two-story building towards the back of the resort. Stairs under a leafy canopy lead to the ground floor rooms and a few more steps leads to the first floor accommodations. Each of the rooms are appointed with en-suite shower room, air-con, comfortable beds (twin or doubles) and a private patio. Most of the rooms have stunning views of the sea over towards Maricaban Island. Sunsets can be breathtaking.
The restaurant offers a very good selection of Filipino and International dishes, served buffet style at breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will definitely not go hungry at Crystal Blue Resort!
