Rags Two is a Filipino style banca boat, albeit a big one. With 2 shower/’comfort rooms’, a large saloon/dining area and 4 air-con twin cabins, life on board is simple but comfortable.
Sunny, the cook, does an incredible job feeding everyone; no buffet here, you choose what you want from the a la carte menu.
This is a typical day on board: wake up 5.30/6am, quick cup of tea, go for a dive, get out of your gear, tell Sunny what you want for breakfast, shower, have breakfast, chill, go for a dive, get out of your gear, tell sunny what you want for lunch, shower, chill, have lunch, go for a dive, get out of your gear, shower, chill, tell Sunny what you want for dinner, go for a dive, get out of your gear, shower, chill, watch sunset with a beer, have dinner, chill, bed. Simple. There are snacks and fruit in between for anyone that wants them.
Rags Two was designed and built by divers for divers to use. There isn’t a better laid out dive deck in any boat in the Philippines than on Rags Two. You’ll have your own space, where you keep all your kit, you don’t need to touch a thing as the guys will do all the filling for you, all you need to do is check your gas before each dive. Nitrox 32% is standard, unless you want something different.
Technical divers using Open Circuit or Rebreather, helium blending, scooters, all can be catered for.
Trip duration depends on the itinerary; Coron wrecks and Apo Reef maybe 5 or 6 dive days, Apo Reef alone maybe 3 dive days, El Nido cave and Coron Wrecks 6 days, around Mindoro 5 or 6 days. However, for groups of 8, tailor-made trips can be arranged to suit duration and location.
