Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is a 97,030 hectare Marine Protected Area in Palawan that includes Tubbataha and Jesse Beazely Reefs. It is composed of two huge coral atolls – the north atoll and the south atoll – and Jessie Beazley, a smaller coral structure is about 20 kilometres north of these atolls.

Scuba diving in Tubbataha is centered on the two atolls, simply referred to as the North and South Atolls. The southern tip is an islet with a lighthouse. The north Islet is a protected, uninhabited nesting site for sea birds and turtles.

Since the 80’s, scientists have been visiting the area and research has shown that Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is home to 500 species of fish, 350 species of corals, 11 species of shark, 12 species of dolphins and whales, 80 species of birds and is a nesting ground for Hawksbill and Green sea turtles.

The 7 day trip trip includes Sumilon Island and diving or snorkeling with whalesharks in Oslob, Cabilao island with its steep walls covered in beautiful hard and soft coral, Balikasag Island with its turtles, large schools of jacks and macro in the soft coral and reef, Panglao Island with its sloping walls with various nudis, frogfish and reef fish and Pamilacan and Siquijor Island.
