Magic Ocean Resort in Anda, Bohol is the newly opened sister resort to Magic Island Resort in Moalboal, Cebu. We have come to know owners Arie and Desiree, whose original resort built many years ago has had much success measured by its returning guests and personal service. We feel this will be superseded at Magic Oceans.
Located off the main road down the side of hill and without neighbors, Magic Ocean Resort is a tranquil place. Guests sitting in the open plan restaurant can observe the popular three course Magic meals being cooked and prepared family style in the fully equipped kitchen. Magic Oceans Resort has achieved a simplicity and style together with obvious attention to detail in its construction and layout – always a difficult feat to achieve!
At the center of the resort is a large freshwater pool and all the cottages surround this along a multi level surface, allowing for some privacy between cottages. The various plants and bushes will soon mature to set the scene of a lush tropical resort.
The cottages themselves are first rate; roomy and tastefully furnished, with quiet air-con and choice of king size or twin beds if sharing. The bathrooms are spacious too, with hot shower and all modern conveniences of a typical western bathroom.
The dive centre is located just several steps away from the sea with individual cates and hanging space for gear and wetsuits. At one side of the dive centre, there are cubicles for guests to set up their cameras as well as separate charging stations. Before each dive, the boat crew will take care of all the gear so there is no need for guests to lift a finger!
